A delivery of Chrismas cheer

Residents of Heald Farm Court in Newton-le-Willows have been helped to celebrate their first Christmas with a gift hamper from Helena Partnerships' Chairman and Chief Executive.

Chairman Peter Styche and Chief Executive Rob Young made the presentation in the fabulous lounge at the new extra care facility - giving a hamper full of sweet treats and healthy fruit for the residents to share with each other and Christmas visitors. The lounge and restaurant is also used by Helena residents from the surrounding bungalows, who will share the Christmas cheer.

Rob Young spoke to residents, saying: "This is just a small token from Helena to mark your first Christmas in Heald Farm Court. We hope you're all settling in well and are looking forward to the Christmas festivities.
"We're all very proud of this scheme and we really enjoy visiting you to see how your new community is developing."

Heald Farm Court opened in September 2009 and has 89 luxury apartments, as well as extensive facilities.

Rob Young said: "This development is a flagship for Helena Partnerships. It combines superb quality accommodation, different forms of affordable occupation and a real community feel."

Helena Partnerships has completed several other developments in 2009, including a new estate for shared ownership at Liberty Place in Knowsley Road, St Helens and a development of high quality eco homes at Newton-le-Willows, available for rent and shared ownership.
